Tassilo Lopes Coelho is a Portuguese/ German filmmaker and photojournalist. Throughout his career, he has lived and worked in several regions, including Southern Africa, Europe and Latin America.

His feature-length film "La soledad de Gaudí" obtained official selection at the Suncine festival in 2021, was co-financed by the Goethe Foundation and has been released on the largest Spanish-language streaming platform, FILMIN.

His new documentary "Espérame", a collaboration with the NGO Médicos Sin Fronteras (MSF) in Mexico, obtained official selection at the Mexico City International Documentary Film Festival (DocsMX) and is currently competing in film festivals.
